Job Descritpion

Philly Swift Delivery is looking for reliable and punctual Courier Drivers to join our team. As a Courier Driver, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of packages across Philadelphia. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing efficient and friendly service.

 

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver packages within assigned routes.
  • Verify delivery details and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Handle packages with care and maintain confidentiality for sensitive deliveries.
  • Use GPS and other tools to navigate efficiently.
  • Follow traffic rules and safety protocols at all times.

Required Skills

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in navigating with GPS or maps.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., GPS, route optimization tools).
  • Experience in delivery services or similar industries.
  • Knowledge of Philadelphia’s geography and neighborhoods.
  • Basic tech skills for using smartphones, apps, and tracking systems.
  • Previous customer service experience for client-facing roles.

Soft Skills

  • Effective Communication: Ability to interact clearly and professionally with clients and team members.
  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to address delivery challenges or customer issues.

Qualifications
